Sensory information is necessary for brain function. Remember the world is sensory! We don't need fancy toys and equipment when the world gives us what we need.
If children have difficulties processing sensory information and it affects their engagement in activities of daily living, then a Paediatric Occupational Therapist can help. Too little or too much causes dysfunction over time! We all over stimulate/under stimulate our children from time to time, but it is the ongoing over/under stimulation that can cause adverse affects. I want children with additional needs to feel the power of loving touch from their caregivers and get some more nourishment for that brain ♥️ and hopefully learn a little bit more about their own and their child’s sensory needs along the way. Baby massage for children with additional needs starting next week. Please DM or email for more details. #babymassageireland #paediatricoccupationaltherapy #sensorydevelopment #sensoryintegration #tactile #vestibular #proprioception #snesorybabies #sensorychildren #play #babymassgeireland
